Good morning! Welcome new friends! I thought I’d take advantage of the recent friending meme and indulge in some house-keeping stuffs.[Poll #1750629]

4. Please know that every day is de-friending amnesty here. If you decide this place isn’t for you, that’s alright. I’ll be sorry to see you go but there won’t be any hard feelings or drama. In addition, I occasionally make flist cuts of my own. Mostly people from former fandoms I don’t talk to anymore. I might have made cuts in error (click-happy, wot?) so feel free to PM if you think there’s been a mistake.

5. I like being comfortable in my space and knowing that people are here because they enjoy my company. I like honest yet polite communication and appreciate healthy, respectful debate. We might not always agree but my journal is a safe space where everyone is welcome to express their opinions and share their thoughts.

And that’s all she wrote! That wasn’t too bad, was it?

eta. why can't you edit polls? I thought of another game! Dropwords. And, I really do know how to spell David's name.

Don't have an app-enabled phone, no idea about Angry Birds, but Scrabble-in-real-life is awesome.

Yay Prague!

your husband is cute, as is his boyfriend, and david tennant is very cool, but i've got my mens in The little AU, and am currently steeped to the rim in BBC Sherlock's Martin Freeman and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Oh, adventurous one- so excited for you.

Yay Montessori! *hearts*

Oh, god, I avoided Angry Birds for ages though tonnes of people were telling me about it. Then a parent mentioned it and I DLed and man, i love it! I take it way too seriously. And, I adore Scrabble in real-life but have no one to play it with. Yet.

Well, your men in the little au are pretty amazing, after all. And, I've still not watched Sherlock but those boys are lovely.

I play Cows In Space. There are cows floating in bubbles, and you bounce them at a target... for hours. I also play Runway, where you pretend to be Air Traffic Control and land planes and refuel them and stuff (way more addictive than it sounds).

The Cows in Space one sounds amusing. And I'd probably like Runway, it's sounds just my speed. I've only recently started playing games on my phone and found it much more enjoyable than I expected!

I don't play games so no worries there.

Yah, Prague. It will be an adventure. I'm from the Boston area originally!

I remember when we got our first computer and I was so excited to play games and stuff and then I was disappointed. My brother played games and I made cards in the card printer program. So, playing on the phone is a new thing for me. I mainly picked it up as something to do while I'm overseeing nap in my classroom.

So much excitement! I didn't realize about Boston. I lived there practically my entire life (two years in London and almost two years in NYC). I love it and miss it.

I lived there growing up and then moved away when I got married. I'm very fond of Boston. A lovely, walkable town.

Your poll is great *g*

I love doodle jump and tiny wings XD

Yeah and also board games and I like to play cards.

Heee. thanks! I amuse myself making up silly questions.

I've not heard of either of those games. Shall have to check them out!

I've actually never really been one to play computer games, etc. Maybe scrabble but playing on the phone/computer is a new thing. I usually do it while I'm overseeing nap in my classroom. I like playing board games and cards though!

Oh, believe me, there is serious strategy involved here!

I am eating this thing called lunch and my tomatoes are leaky.

I should eat lunch too. But without leaky tomatoes.

Interview, yes? Thoughts?

well considering lunch was a tomato and a little left over hummous I didn't have much choice in the matter. THANK GOD TOMORROW IS PAY DAY. we need jobs soon. Our food budget last week was 50.00.

Yes, interview. Hmmm - not sure? They seemed to like me enough? I was the first one though and they have others. Promised to contact me one way or another though, so that is good?

Oh, right. That would make it tricky. I'm already counting down to payday next Tuesday so I hear you.

God, I hope this works out, bb. I've got everything crossed for you.

I'm supposed to tell you in the comments that lately I've had a major lady-boner for Chris Colfer. Um, but Colin Morgan is hot too. I mean, well, duh.

From: [identity profile]
Oh, Ali, I already knew about your lady-boner for Chris Colfer. :) And of course my hubby is hot!

I'm certain my lady-boner can be seen from space. The Doctor knows that its existence is a fixed point in time.

Recently went to see the first LotR movie with live orchestra & choirs and was all sighy and drooly over teh Viggo. It's a natural occurrence whenever I watch the movies...

Yay! Oh, i remember you mentioning it somewhere. That sounds so, so lovely. And Viggo is certainly drool-worthy, imo.

I find Bradley attractive in a he's a pretty boy way. But Colin and David seriously do things to me. Amazing, indeed!

First of all ... I'd like to pat myself on the back here! I am so proud of myself for actually checking your journal and responding to it within a 24 hour time period of it being out, instead of a week late which is my usual modus operandi.

I like puzzley phone games but at the moment I'm obsessed with Bookworm and seeing how many 3 letter words I can make before my phone explodes in anger at my terrible language skills D:

I am also in love with Matt Bomer ... don't tell Paul !!!!!

You are so cool. Seriously.

I tend to like puzzley type games too. And, I used to play Bookworm all the time on my iTouch. I should see if I get a version on the current phone.

Matt Bomer is damn pretty - and your secret's safe with me!
