I keep on wanting to post but either don't have the words or find myself sounding like a (boring) broken record. I think I just need connection, you know?

I slept four and a half hours last night. WTF, body?! Why do you hate me so? Still, it means I'll get through the crap parts of today that much faster so there is that. 

The Celtics rocked my world last night. Honestly, screaming at the tv in delight. And, I'll never get tired of chanting beat LA, even when we're not playing them and don't even know yet if we will be. 

If you're a fan of Meriln and you're not reading the very talented H. Hogan's facebook recaps, you have to check them out. Clever and hilarious, I look forward to them every week. I linked to the latest one for Lady of the Lake but there's links to all the earlier ones there.

It is the weekend, lovelies!! What do you have going on? Any fun and exciting things? Let me live vicariously! I have a pretty quiet weekend ahead which, given recent events, is probably a good thing. Really looking forward to Doctor Who, planning to devour some fic and possibly a beach trip tomorrow if the weather holds out. Also, I'm making this pomegranate chicken tonight. Yum! BTW, that link leads to greenlitebites, a great website for healthy, delicious meals; it's definitely worth looking over.

Thank god today is Friday. I'm not sure I could physically survive another day of work.

Despite my dramatic wailing about the wallet yesterday, it didn't end up being too bad. My labs will happen tomorrow, right before my blood transfusion, which isn't the best but should be manageable. I was more frustrated that I couldn't run my errands but I guess those will be taken care of sooner or later.

I've been so drained and ill that my workout routine has been completely shot to hell. But, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] hermette I did some kick-ass ab exercises the other day.  I need motivation though and interesting things to do (also, it's fecking hot and muggy and super buggy so non-outdoor things) so...back to a themed Five for Friday!

1. Do you work out? How many times a week?

2. What's your favourite type of workout?

3. Have you ever followed a workout plan, like couch to 5k or summat? Would you recommend it? 

4. Do you log your exercise regularly? 

5. What's your two go-to songs for working out? (it's all about the music, imo?)
