1. Am feeling better though not 100%. However, I have eaten today so I consider it a success! Plain rice around 10 am and dry toast around 4:30 pm and loads of ginger ale in between. Yum! Of course I seem to be craving fondue. WTF, body?
2. I'm sorry I've been such rubbish at commenting lately. I am reading and I'm sharing in your joys and triumphs (one from yesterday might have made me dance in my chair) and sending tonnes of good thoughts to those struggling. *hugs*
3. Thanks to everyone who commented or PM-ed regarding my last post. I'm still horribly distressed over the entire thing but I spent a productive couple of hours this evening writing emails and making phone calls. I hope you all can do the same. Even just one email can make a difference.
4. "Just come out so we can talk...or sing about it." I think more fights and discussions should be resolved in this manner. Just saying.
5. As some of you may know, I love US history (considered teaching it for a while even). So, imagine my delight when a Merlin AU took my love of Merlin and smushed it with my love of history. A Question of Liberty is a long and satisfying Merlin/Arthur read set during the Revolutionary War. Merlin is an indentured servant who arrives in America in 1774 and is quickly swept up in the coming Revolution. I really appreciated
riventhorn 's attention to detail and historical accuracy. I loved her characterizations and how the whole story fell into place. If you have some time, check it out.

Date: 2010-04-22 11:25 pm (UTC)It's really good! I wasn't sure she'd make it work given the entire revolutionary war thing but i really think she did a great job. of course, i am a complete history geek.
